I plant...What? You didn't invite me for lunch?<br /><br />I planted cucumbers in a container and have had delicious success. Will use a bigger container next year. <br /><br />Also have pumpkins in a container. The vines are miles long with dozens and dozens of flowers. The problem....when a ping pong ball size pumpkin develops, it's not long before it gets soft and mushy. Too much water? Not enough? Next ...Your garden is SO beautiful - and inspiring. Next year when we can do it right with raised beds, we'll see if we can emulate some of the beauty of your garden. We may not get enough heat for that - we'll have to pick our spot carefully to capture all the 'therms' this yard can get.
