And there... caught in my netting for one of my 4x8' beds was a cat! He was soooo NOT happy to be stuck there.
We grabbed a pair of scissors and extricated him carefully while he was lunging wildly at us... sigh... leaving a big gaping hole in my netting.
Oh well! Will just have to string some more netting up!
Poor kitty! Glad you were able to get him out. Are you getting closer to planting time?
ReplyDeleteHi Ribbit! I'm about ready to start seeds!
ReplyDeleteOMG! Poor kitty indeed! So glad you saw the situation and was able to release him. Sorry about the trellis.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, that's just terrible. Luckily, you found the poor thing, and set it free.
ReplyDeleteHi GrafixMuse & EG! Happy "almost" Spring!
ReplyDeleteYes, I felt bad for the poor kitty... I think that he had been stuck for a few hours as I remember my dog barking in the wee hours of the night.
Ack. I've never caught a cat in netting before. I caught a chipmunk once.
ReplyDeleteHi Daphne!!! I think that a chipmunk might be even scarier than a cat!
ReplyDeleteOh, poor both of you.
ReplyDeleteHi Stefaneener! He was pretty scared!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the cat thanks you!
ReplyDeleteIt must of been a dumb cat. If there whiskers cannot get through without bending they are supposed to back up and go around. John
ReplyDeleteHi John! Happy Spring! Yes, it must have been a dumb cat. Haven't seen it around since!
