Can you say Burrrr?

A quick note to let you know that NO, I haven't frozen to death!

It's getting cold here in northern Wyoming.  The Indian Summer that we were so enjoying... gone...  a distant memory... sigh...

We even had snow flurries today!  That happened on my walk back from the post office.  I was so happy that I wore my country bumpkin rag wool hat and my fleece mitties!

It's getting cold!  The next few days will be in the 40s and in the teens (like 13 degrees!) during the night!  Burrr...

I will put a blanket over my cold frame and inside my hoop house!

  1. Well, that means by the weekend, I'll be getting that. It's going to be hard to give up our dose of 50 degree temps we've had the past few days. We've been so above normal---I'm beginnning to wonder if I'm going to use my ski's this year!!!
    Stay warm in your fleecies!

  2. Good luck with the cold. I've been feeling cold and we have only had one frost so far and none in the long range forecast. But it has been raining a lot and rain and 40s feels so cold.

  5. Wow! We had a cold snap, but now we're back in the 60's. It won't last long for us, however. We'll be with you soon.

  6. We have many a frosty morning over here in the UK although it is dry so everything in the garden is under cloches and fleece - happy gardening!
