Harvested Arugula from the hoop house

Greetings gardening blogger friends!

The weather has indeed turned nippy here in northern Wyoming...  we're heading into a chill that will give us teens for a high... and below zero temps at night... burrr...

Temperatures...
inside the hoop house at 2pm (overcast): 51 degrees
outside 32 degrees

Notes from the hoop house...
My arugula just keeps growing and growing!  Had to give it a haircut today!
I harvested a bowl of these zippy greens for my vegetable beef stew!

Vegetable beef stew...
Tonight is "friends over for supper" night... so I'm trying something fun!  Bread bowls filled with steamy and nutritious vegetable beef stew!  Into the stew go those spicy greens!

  4. Thanks Meems! Oh good! Glad that the little sample made it to you!

Be sure to buy 2 brand new spray bottles to make up the concentrate. 1 to 2 drops in one bottle plus 16 oz water for windows/mirrors and the rest of the sample (about 1/4 tsp) goes into the other bottle for All Purpose cleaning with 16 oz water. Call me if you have questions. I love that stuff!!!! I'm constantly using it!

  9. Thanks Veggie PAK, nothing like a bowl of hot soup on a chilly day!

Hey GrafixMuse! Temps are really cooling off here at night... we're in the teens... but the light bulb & Christmas lights seem to really add some warmth.

    Thanks Daphne!
